Fantasia Maltase came to be in May of 1984 when I found camelot's Runaway Heart, known as Chablis. Although Chablis never found success in the show ring, she produced 13 Champions. Most of these Champions were the product of breedings to CH Windsong Master Showcase. Chablis' offspring continue to produce Champions for me to this day. Two of her males, Fantasia's Thief of Hearts (Rob), who is a CH Su-Le Cordon Bleu grandson, and CH Fantasia's Country Squire (Squire), a BIS/BISS CH Oak Ridge Country Charmer grandson are the basis for the current breeding program. The main emphasis in the breeding of Fantasia Maltese is to produce a dog with sound structure and a silky, easy keep coat.
The breeding program at Fantasia and Picture Me Persians and exotics is on a limited basis with only enough kittens and puppies that can be properly cared for and socialized.
Most are spoken for before they are born. All pets, cats and dogs, are sold either for Show or as pets on a spay/neuter contract.
